Kylie was so very excited this past week. She had her doctor appointment on Halloween, she wasn't feeling very good so we had to reschedule her shots but she got a treat on the way home -- Her very first happy meal. As you can see she loved the box the best!! Unfortunately she was just a bit too sleepy to trick or treat and began to cry every time the other trick-or-treaters left with their candy.
Then on Saturday Kylie was very happy even though her Daddy was sad! Michigan won the game between Michigan State, the younger brother according to Mike Hart! Here Kylie is wearing her Michigan hat and new shirt!
Daddy started looking a little rough in the last 5 minutes of the game...
But don't worry she was rooting her team and doing "Touchdown" with her arms so even Daddy had to laugh!!
On Sunday when all was said and done she got back to playing and tried to steal Kennedy's Bumbie seat while playing in her kitchen. Look how she just crawled right in there. That doesn't look very comfortable.
Kennedy didn't mind though because she wasn't feeling very well either and just got out of the hospital with a bad case of Croup. Now she is all smiles again and as soon as she seen Kylie she was all smiles. I think this weekend wore out Jennifer, Daddy and Mommy more than anyone else.
How do you like these piggie-tails that Kylie was pulling out!!! A little crooked by the time the camera was brought out.
I have a very bad cold today so no fun time-pictures to update. Running nose and chest is rattly and I just feel icky! I'm a very grumpy girl and and want to cuddle with my Mommy and Daddy, watch cartoons, have my bottle and go to bed!!
Then to make things even more exciting I'm supposed to have shots tomorrow for my 1-year doctor appointment. No thank you! Well if I'm still sick then we can't do the shots, that doctor can look at me but the nurse said nope, I'm off the hook. So maybe some good came out of this.
Here is what I look like when I'm sad! Old picture but same expression!!
So Jennifer went and bought some pumpkins today and we took some pictures of them. Here is how cute I am with Kennedy. We both had on our "Overalls" for the occasion too. When Mommy gets the others from Jennifer's camera we can update them but here are a few.
Then later I was playing with mom's water bottle. That was fun. How do you like my new pony tail? My bangs are just long enough to go in my eyes but Mom is growing out my curls so this will have to do for now!
We have been practicing our sippy cup for the past few weeks now. Last night I did very well with this new founded drinking Apparatus! It was going pretty well and then I found out that if I throw the cup down it doesn't fall all the way to the floor. Somehow my Mommy catches it every time. I'll keep trying but let's face it, she's pretty good when it comes to knowing my every move! Eating is fun!!
Here was me the other day though when I was really do well. I like these little cups the best so far, they fit much nicer in my hands since I have such tiny little fingers.
Okay so I'm really tired and I won't throw it down this time ... but it fits nicely in my cup holder on my tray, that is kind of cool. We'll just do that for a while and then Mommy and Daddy will be so proud of me!
And I learned how to sit up and try to get out of "jail" over the summer too... this is how my Mommy started to find me each morning, now I just stand up and say "Da" and they come get me up. I am so close to walking now but my chubby little legs are a little wobbly yet.
Then when I learned how to stand Mommy made me a neat little table to play at with my block letters. This was fun too!!
When we first got there I was so excited that I smiled so big my picture came out fuzzy!! I had the Jeep stroller but Kennedy is soooo tiny still that she didn't fit into her stroller very well. I am a nice girl so I shared, she used my Jeep and I used this little one that she has. I am much bigger than her and I can hold my head up way better than she can!
Then I got so tired that I feel asleep on Daddy's shoulder... time to go home!
I got to meet all the mascots.. they were really nice!
So did Kennedy...
Ashley and Matt were there....
Jennifer and Zack brought Kennedy too... she had to take a bath in the sink! Perfect fit!!
Next year I can go to a big girl baseball game like Mommy and Daddy did this year! Here are some of their pictures. (8-11-2007) They took a limo there.
Kylie Ann DeCator was born on October 12, 2006. She was definetely a gift for our family. Every day with her brings more and more joy and we are truly a blessed family. Here is a quick view of our family, my wonderful husband Todd, Jennifer who is 18 with her daughter Kennedy who was born on April 5th, 2007, Ashley who just turned 14 in July, and myself, Mary whose age will not be discussed. We hope you enjoy her pictures and those of our very busy family life!!
